Tuning into the Moon

What has been even more significant is that this also coincides with a full or partial eclipse of the Sun [depending on where you are in the world]. In addition, the Moon has reached perigee, the point where it is closest to the Earth, creating a Supermoon – albeit a dark one.

Since a solar eclipse is always a new moon, it represents a new beginning. Therefore this is an excellent day to think about balance in your own life too. We are now in the shadows of a New Moon under Pisces. As Pisces is connected to the water element, it is a sign of mysticism, instinct, dance and poetry. Marine mammals, when returning to a life in the sea, have to re-adapt to the acoustical properties of water. They rely upon their listening skills to make sense of their under water world.

We too are being called to pause and tune in to the greater cosmic cycles that we are a part of. Quieten and enter the depths of stillness within ourselves through meditation, connectedness to nature or our chosen deities and offer gratitude for the gift of life.

This strong yin energy encourages us to manifest our desires for a better world. From simple acts of kindness, beginning with how we might self talk, we can engage in some very powerful energetic shifts. Collectively we can contribute in unseen ways to uplifting our experience of living.
